SFO or SJC
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is approximately 40 minutes away from our beautiful venue in Woodside and a 15 minute drive to the Pacific Ocean. It is the most popular airport in the Bay Area with several flight options. San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC) is also approximately 40 minutes away from Woodside and 8 minutes from Downtown San Jose. It is a smaller airport and a convenient option if visiting areas in the South Bay.

Transportation
There is more than enough parking available at The Mountain Terrace venue for those driving their own vehicle or renting one. Due to the remoteness of the venue location it is usually very difficult to get a commitment through rideshare apps and if successful, it can take 45 minutes or more for a driver to arrive. We are still researching shuttle options and will provide an update when we have more information.

Ramen Nagi
Our absolute favorite restaurant in Palo Alto! Be warned - it's so good that the line rivals that of Disneyland attractions. Plan to get there 30 minutes before opening or to wait up to 2 hours.
Stanford University
The place where it all started! Wilbur Field is where Austin asked Kolleen to be his girlfriend in 2018 and to be his wife in 2023. The campus is beautiful and relaxing, so we recommend packing a picnic blanket or even a hammock to rest after exploring the 8k+ acres.
Half Moon Bay
There are plenty of great spots along the coast that offer scenic views of the California coastline. Hiking is one of our favorite hobbies, so we highly recommend packing your gear!

What date should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP no later than June 15th, so that we can coordinate with our vendors.
Question
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors on grass in front of the beautiful backdrop of redwood trees and a view of the Bay. Stilettos are not advisable. Cocktail hour (open bar) and dinner will be held on the outdoor, wooden deck of the venue. Dancing will take place indoors.

What time should I arrive to your ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 P.M. Doors open for guests to start arriving at 4:45 P.M., so please be respectful and arrive on time.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
We are having an unplugged wedding ceremony, so we ask that you keep your devices off and out of sight for the entire duration of the ceremony. This will allow you and everyone to fully enjoy the wedding ceremony and also allow our lovely photographer to get the best shots possible.

What should I wear?
Answer
The dress code for the wedding and reception is cocktail attire. Please also note that it will be cold at night, so plan to bring apparel to keep you warm. We will have space heaters around the dinner tables, which will be located on the outdoor deck.

What time does your reception end?
Answer
The wedding reception ends at 10:00 P.M. sharp to allow for a one hour cleanup after our guests depart. We are not currently planning for an after party since we understand that it is a Sunday night, though we will see where the night takes us!

Are either of you changing your last name?
Answer
No, we will not be changing our last names. You can address us in future correspondence as Kolleen & Austin or Ms./Mrs. Kolleen Machado & Mr. Austin Wang.
