How We Met
Kiera and Zac met in the beautiful city of San Diego, California. Kiera had gotten a German Shepherd puppy named Serena van der Woofsen for Christmas after her beloved dog Coach passed away. 4 months later Zachary had also gotten a Belgian Malinois puppy named Luce. A couple of times a week they both took their new puppies to a dog park around the corner from their apartment buildings and the rest is history. Zac told Kiera hilarious jokes and pretended to know intel about Michael Jordan (Kiera's favorite athlete) and Kiera pretended she knew how to train Zac's dog (when hers still hadn't learned to go to the bathroom in the city). There they fell in love and the four of them have been a family and inseparable ever since <3

By planning a Friday wedding, our hope was that we would have an entire weekend to enjoy our family and friends! The Saturday following our wedding day the Pittsburgh Pirates will be playing the Colorado Rockies at 6:40pm at PNC Park. We are excited to invite all guests to join us at this family-friendly event! Please note that this event is entirely optional. If enough people are interested, we’ll purchase the tickets upfront and secure a group section so we can all sit together. If you RSVP ‘Yes,’ please be prepared to reimburse the event planner for your ticket. We kindly ask that you only RSVP if you intend to attend. We can't wait to enjoy the game together!

Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP on the wedding website. Guests who are vegetarians will have the option of selecting a Vegetarian meal when RSVP'ing. Those with additional dietary restrictions will have the option of annotating this information when RSVP'ing. Our catering team is happy to provide vegan or gluten-free options with advanced notice.

August in Pennsylvania can be warm. Temperatures are typically in the 80's however the ceremony and reception will be entirely indoors with A/C.

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
We regret that we are not able to provide transportation for guests between venues or hotels. We kindly ask that you plan your own transportation for the day. Rideshare services like Uber or Lyft and local taxis are also available in the Washington area if you need a ride. If you're staying at a hotel, you might consider coordinating with other guests at the same hotel to share rides. We want everyone to arrive safely, so please plan ahead and drive carefully.
