How We Met
Jacob and Victoria met working at Cabela’s in Macomb County, MI in 2020 and clicked immediately! Their first official date was a memorable experience at Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill. They both share a love for the outdoors, fishing, and of course Legos! In 2021, they fell in love again by welcoming Dallas, a spunky Boston Terrier Bulldog, into their lives. After many adventures together and their first out of state trip to Colorado, they decided to get their first apartment in 2023. And the rest is history!
The Proposal
Jacob proposed to Victoria on a beach in the Bahamas while they were on their first cruise in May of 2024!

Yates Cider Mill
In 1876, the Yates family installed a cider press into the existing water-powered process and began producing delicious Michigan apple cider. It then became known as Yates Cider Mill. Over the past 160 years, Yates has been producing the same kind of fresh 100% all natural apple cider that folks enjoyed way back in 1876.

The park is one block from shopping & dining in downtown! The park has a basketball hoop, picnic tables, kayak and paddle board rentals, water fountains, grills, benches and bike racks.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by September 19th 2025, so we can send our final numbers to our vendors. If you do not RSVP by this date, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony begins at 4:30. Please arrive atleast 15-30 minutes prior to allow time to park and find your seats.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We can’t wait to see all of our friends and family dress up for our big day. We ask that you dress in cocktail/semi-formal attire. Please no jeans/denim & ladies, avoid shades of white.

Can I bring a guest/date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited in your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be included in your invite. Thank you for understanding and please reach out with any questions!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Invitations will be specific and will include names of children who are invited. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a “night out” for yourself!

Our ceremony will be outside (if the weather permits). Cocktail hour and reception will be inside.

Unfortunately, Dallas will not be able to attend. HOWEVER, we have found a few small ways to have him included in spirit! (This was asked a lot ;) )
