General Information

Welcome to our wedding website!! Our wedding is going to be a very special day and we would love the chance to celebrate with those who can, but our wedding will be a little bit different from your traditional wedding. We have decided to have a courthouse wedding in NYC! Due to the regulation at city hall we are only allowed 4 guests total. So what does this mean for everyone else? We will not be having a "formal" reception at this time, but we will have a party to celebrate! SO for anyone willing and able to come, we would love to celebrate with you after the ceremony. Please RSVP ASAP so we can book a place for the party.

Our Story : )

One fateful night in a Harlem pizza shop, two strangers found the person they would spend the rest of their lives with. He was a struggling student, finding his way in a new world. She had just moved to the city and was still landing on her feet. Those strangers were us! Ben and Katelynn! Since that night we fell deeply in love. After four magical years of adventure and discovery, we're ready to take the next big step.

This is an open invitation for photos with the bride and groom before the party later that night. This is separate from the ceremony and all are welcome! Bride and groom with message you with a location the day before.

Formal

BYOD and come sit in the park while we celebrate the bride and groom. The bride and groom will cut their cake and share a meal while relaxing in the park. Please come dressed formally as we want to take “dinner” pictures. This is the last event of the night for those not 21+. Dessert will be provided for guests.

After party! 21+ Come join the bride and groom with their first dance and many more. The party will be held at a bar with a 1 drink(alcoholic or nonalcoholic) minimum per guest. Food will be served for all guests attending. Please join us to dance and celebrate!

Brunch is an optional event to say your congratulations to the bride and groom one more time before your trip ends. Brunch will not provided by the bride and groom at this time. This is subject to change.

Registry

Hello and welcome to the registry section! We would like you to bear few things in mind that may differ from a typical registry. Firstly, we want everyone to remember that no one should feel obligated to contribute to the registry regardless of your participation. Secondly, we will be moving to Amsterdam in August of 2026. As such we are currently downsizing. We are also saving for housing items, plane tickets and other moving expenses when the time comes to purchase them. Thirdly, we are also currently in the middle of half marathon training! This will be Ben's first half marathon and Katelynn's 14thth or 15th? But our first as husband and wife! The half marathon is July 4th on Rockaway Beach. Lastly, we do not have a honeymoon planned but hope to soon! Due to these circumstances please keep to the items on our registry or contact the bride or groom if your ideal gift is not listed. Please address all gifts to "Ben & Katelynn" as Katelynn will be keeping her last name.
