The dinner and celebration begin at the Ice Bar within the Intercontinental Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin. We'll start with a cozy gathering featuring a selection of drinks, snacks, and traditional Irish music. Festivities will transition to the Ailesbury Suite for dinner, followed by drinks and dancing. Be warned, as the night progresses we anticipate the possibility of some spontaneous singalongs and all-around good craic. For those with the stamina to stay until midnight, we'll provide a tempting array of late-night snacks before relocating the celebration to the hotel Whiskey Bar.
As mentioned above, guests of the Intercontinental will be able to enjoy a late night cap in the hotel’s Whiskey Bar. You can also avail of a discount by calling the hotel and booking under the Fay/Luddy wedding. Make your reservation before June 1st to get the discounted rate. In the event that accommodations at the Intercontinental are unavailable, alternative options such as the neighbouring Clayton Hotel offer convenience and comfort, ensuring your stay is as delightful as the celebration itself. If neither are to your taste, any hotel in Dublin's City Centre is a convenient taxi ride away from both the ceremony and celebration locations.
Yes, vegetarian options are available at dinner. Enquire with your server on the day.
If you aren’t already tired of us by the end of the wedding night, on Monday the 22nd, you are invited to join us for a leisurely stroll along the majestic cliffs of Howth, weather permitting. A short train ride from the Dublin City Centre, it promises to be a memorable continuation of our celebrations. Your presence would add immeasurable joy to our special day, and we eagerly anticipate making lots of amazing memories with you.

Newgrange is a Stone Age (Neolithic) monument in the Boyne Valley, County Meath, it is the jewel in the crown of Ireland's Ancient East. Newgrange was constructed about 5,200 years ago (3,200 B.C.) which makes it older than Stonehenge and the Great Pyramids of Giza.
There are castles everywhere, but they are mostly outside Dublin city. We recommend you look at a list of best castles to see which ones you'd like to visit.
One of Ireland’s favourite visitor experiences, the Cliffs of Moher tower over the rugged West Clare coast. Walk the safe, paved pathways and view the famous Cliffs on Europe’s western frontier and enjoy the spectacular vistas over the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands.
Glendalough is in the Wicklow National Park which is situated south of Dublin on 20,000 hectares of mountain scenery with many roads crossing through it. A lot of the National Park has no facilities and is left mostly untouched and natural.
Can't make it out to the Cliffs of Moher? The Cliffs of Howth are a more convenient option and a favourite walk of Kim and Simon's. If you'd like to enjoy the scenic vistas, you can join us for a walk along them after the wedding on Monday 22nd.
