Elders bless the couple for happiness, prosperity, and a successful married life. Choora Ceremony The choora ceremony is a traditional pre-wedding ritual where a bride receives red and ivory bangles from her maternal uncle, symbolizing blessings, prosperity, and her newly married status. If you would like to contribute to our Honeymoon Fund, or Registry we would love that :) No boxed gifts please!
Please avoid white or black for the ceremony. As many of the events will be religious, we request no dresses/shorts above knee length throughout the weekend. Non-South Asian clothing is completely acceptable!
The ceremony will be a 1-hour modern Hindu ceremony, with outdoor seating. We have carefully curated the ceremony to reflect the traditions & rituals that resonate most with us. Although it's common to mingle during Indian ceremonies, we ask that you remain seated & present during the entire ceremony as there will be portions that request guest participation. We don't want to miss out on your blessings & energy!
Please enter the first and last name of one member of your party below.
If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group on the next page.
