Kalki Lashkara Indya

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

If you would like to contribute to our Honeymoon Fund, or Registry we would love that :) No boxed gifts please!

Question

Are there colors or styles I should avoid?

Answer

Please avoid white or black for the ceremony. As many of the events will be religious, we request no dresses/shorts above knee length throughout the weekend. Non-South Asian clothing is completely acceptable!

Question

What should I expect at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be a 1-hour modern Hindu ceremony, with outdoor seating. We have carefully curated the ceremony to reflect the traditions & rituals that resonate most with us. Although it's common to mingle during Indian ceremonies, we ask that you remain seated & present during the entire ceremony as there will be portions that request guest participation. We don't want to miss out on your blessings & energy!
