Early January 2020 - On Coffee Meets Bagel (CMB), Sa La sees Kevin's ice breaker which states that he uses Apple Maps. Sa La is intrigued by this as she also prefers using Apple Maps over all others and messages Kevin first to state "Hey I use Apple Maps too!" and so it begins. He mistypes his phone number and Sa La ends up sending what can only be conceived as a booty text to a complete stranger. February 2020: Kevin and Sa La meet at Cheesecake Factory where Kevin orders a pina colada (with no shame). They become exclusive on Valentines Day.

October 29, 2022: Kevin surprises Sa La with a proposal at The National Mall near the Lincoln Memorial as the sun is setting while they were riding the scooters/bike and this is how it went: 1. Kevin "falls" off the bike and yells for Sa La. 2. Sa La genuinely is concerned and scooters back to Kevin. Million thoughts in her head such as, "Where is the nearest ER? What will we do since he doesn't have insurance? etc." 3. As Sa La arrives, Kevin is on the floor on one knee and says "I've fallen for you. Will you marry me?"

Kevin and Sa La will wed at Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano, CA.
