Flight

San Juan Airport

There are a few airports on the island, but SJU (Luis Munoz Marin International Airport) is the most common to fly into. SJU is also less than 30 minutes by car from Viejo San Juan (Old San Juan) where the weekend's festivities will be taking place!

This is the sister hotel to El Convento and only one block away! The welcome event will be held here.

Hotel

Decanter Hotel

106 Calle San José, San Juan, San Juan 00901, Puerto Rico

There are a number of smaller hotels, such as the Decanter Hotel, within Old San Juan. The Decanter Hotel has 19 guest rooms and suites and is within a block from El Convento. Be sure to check websites like Expedia for extra deals!

Viejo San Juan

San Juan, San Juan 00901, Puerto Rico

There are a number of AirBNBs of different sizes within walking distance of where the ceremony and reception will take place. Traffic getting into and out of Old San Juan to San Juan proper can be unpredictable (as there is only one road in and one road out)!

El Morro

Few landmarks are more representative of Puerto Rico's legacy within the Caribbean and the Americas than Castillo San Felipe del Morro, better known as El Morro. This fortification is located at the corner of the islet of Old San Juan. During most of its nearly 500-year history, it was an important military outpost for Spain and later the United States.

El Yunque National Forest

If you are staying longer and looking to explore out of San Juan, El Yunque is the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. This rainforest is just over a 30 minute drive from the airport and has many hiking trails and waterfalls for you to explore!

Bioluminescent Bay

Puerto Rico has three bioluminescent bays: Mosquito Bay on the island of Vieques, Laguna Grande in Fajardo, and La Parguera in Lajas. Visiting a bioluminescent bay is a truly one-of-a-kind experience that you shouldn't miss in Puerto Rico.
