Our First Date
It was a dark and stormy Halloween night in 2022... and I almost ghosted our first date. Between a weekend of partying and getting absolutely drenched on my bike ride there, I was ready to call it quits. But as soon as I walked into Poor Romeo and saw Kevin, I knew I made the right call in coming. Within minutes we were swapping stories about our travel adventures, debating the best emo bands, declaring our love for euchre, and discussing what true crime shows we were binging. As we were leaving the bar, I felt my phone buzz telling me it was time to "BeReal", so I asked Kevin to jump in a quick pic (see below). And just like that, we had our first photo... and the rest was history.

What should I wear?
Answer
Cocktail attire! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors in grassy terrain so we don't recommend stilettos. Chunky heels or sandals are a great option.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. Thanks for understanding!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is parking at the venue. Guests are welcome to leave their cars overnight.
Question
Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
We will have a shuttle departing from the Best Western Voyageur Place at 3:30PM. There will be two shuttles returning to the hotel later in the evening. One will depart at 11PM and the second will depart at 12:45AM. Uber/Lyft/Taxis are available if you choose to stay somewhere else or plan to return to the city. Drinking and driving will NOT be tolerated.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
September is usually warm during the day but cooler in the evening. Since we will be in the barn for dinner and dancing, please bring an extra layer if you're worried about getting chilly.

I can't make it! What should I do?
Answer
Although we will miss you, we understand that life is busy and not everyone will be able to make it! If you know in advance that you're unable to make it, please let us know.
