OUR STORY
Flora and Kevin first met at a Nebraska Cornhusker's tailgate in their senior year of undergrad. Because of their overlapping friend groups and similar hair styles, they were confused for each other which led to a chance meeting of the two. Only six months after they started dating, Flora and Kevin moved to Luxembourg while Flora pursued her master's degree. There they lived in a tiny apartment for the next year, profoundly deepening their relationship. Over the next several years, through pandemic and moves, the two have only grown closer. Nowadays, the couple live in Los Angeles where Flora is studying for her PhD and Kevin works for a roofing technology company.

The Peregrine is located just a few blocks from the Joslyn. We have blocked Thursday and Friday night for our guests. Use the link below to book a room in our hotel block. The last day to book a room is August 13th.

Omaha Eppley Airfield
Omaha Eppley Airfield is located just three miles north of downtown and offers flights to most major airline hubs.

Coneflower Creamery - Blackstone District
This is our favorite ice cream place in the world! You've likely heard Flora wax poetic about her favorite flavor, Grandma Minnie's Lemon Bar. Kevin recommends the Blackstone Butterbrickle!
La Buvette
La Buvette is our go-to date night spot whenever we go back to Omaha. This is a cozy French-style bistro with a changing daily menu and huge wine selection. It's very popular so expect to wait for a table during peak hours!
Archetype Coffee
Archetype is our favorite coffee shop in Omaha! They have a few different locations around the city, but it's a great place to get a really good cup of coffee!
Sweet Magnolias Bake Shop
We love a sweet treat and Sweet Magnolias is one of our favorite places to go for a pastry. They have an incredible selection, including pastries for all sorts of dietary restrictions (gluten free and vegan)!
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium
We encourage all of our friends from out of town to spend a day at the Zoo. Some people say it's better than the San Diego Zoo ;)

Although we love your little ones, due to the delicate nature of the artwork at The Joslyn we are having a primarily adults-only celebration, with exceptions for immediate family members and members of the wedding party. Only those named on the invitation are invited.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
All guests are named on the invitation. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate further plus ones. Thank you for your understanding!

Is there a shuttle to the venue?
Answer
Unfortunately, we will not be offering a shuttle to and from the venue. However, the Peregrine is four blocks from the venue (approximately a 10 minute walk or a two minute drive).

Is there parking available?

Yes! The Joslyn has a free parking lot!
