The venue is 35 minutes by car from Glyfada. We are confirming transportation options, and would appreciate it if you could confirm how you will get to the venue on the day. From downtown Glyfada a taxi is estimated to cost 35 euro to the venue. From downtown Athens estimated to cost 40 euro. Alternatively we are organizing a coach to have a 3:30 pm departure from the Glyfada Riviera Hotel and a return to Glyfada Riviera Hotel at the end of the evening.

The wedding ceremony will be a symbolic ceremony blending of Persian and Irish traditions. Followed by some welcome drinks, dinner and dancing. There will be an open bar. Please be sure to notify us of your meal preference when you RSVP.

What is the dress code / attire for the wedding?

Think cocktail formal/semi formal appropriate for the warm weather of Greece.

Travel

Athens Airport (ATH) is the nearest airport. The venue is less than 15 minutes by car from the Airport. The venue is an event venue & vineyard, with no accommodation. For accommodation we will be basing ourselves in the Glyfada area of Athens Sept 07 - 14. Glyfada has lots of bars & restaurants, as well as the beach & waterfront. Glyfada is 35 minutes from the venue & 30 minutes from the airport, by car. Glyfada is within easy reach of downtown Athens by transit or car. We have partnered with Nick Dimitrakopoulos <nick@mrtravel.ca>, a Greek travel agent based in Toronto to put together some options, both for Hotels in Glyfada & multi day island hopping trips post wedding.
