Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, black formal or cocktail attire is required. See the "Attendance Attire" tab for required dress code.

IS THERE A REGISTRY?
Answer
First and foremost, we appreciate your attendance over all gifts. We do not have a registry and will be providing a card container upon entering the venue.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love all your little ones, unfortunately, we cannot host any children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is free parking available at surrounding UNMC Lots & Blackstone Public Parking Lots. Both garages allow for vehicles to be left overnight. - Yellow Public Parking Garage: 400-498 S 41st St, Omaha, NE 68131 - Park Omaha (Blackstone Garage): 325 S 38th St, Omaha, NE 68131

Can I bring a date?
Answer
If "and guest" or your plus-one's name is written on your wedding invitation, you can bring someone. Unfortunately, our guest count is limited based on the size of the venue.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
This wedding will not have a sit down plated meal. There will be heavy hors d'oeuvres for 4 hours throughout the night. We have tried our best to select a menu that is accommodating to all dietary preferences and allergies. We assure you, you will be well fed and always have a drink in your hand the entire night :)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
You may arrive as early as 5:00 PM, but please arrive at The Pella Blackstone no later than 5:30 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025. For additional details, please see the "Schedule" tab.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
We have selected hotels within walking distance of The Pella At Blackstone. Both hotels are within 1/2 a mile. Should you be unable to walk, we recommend the Yellow Public Parking garage across the street from the venue. There will be no shuttles from The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel and the Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha Un Medical Center.
