Travel
Travel Note
Drivers:
Venue is best reached by car. Please be aware of narrow lanes and the occasional sheep in the road! Parking is available at the venue and on the village green. Please avoid parking on verges as this attracts a fine! Please note that the road over Hardknott Pass is unsuitable for inexperienced drivers and for larger vehicles (single track, winding, steep hills), is not recommended when dark and is usually impassable in icy weather.
Train
Seascale
The nearest main rail station is Seascale (near Gosforth). It is also possible to travel on the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway then walk over the path via Burnmoor Tarn. Taxis can be booked to get you to and from the hotel.
Flight
Manchester & Liverpool John Lennon
For those traveling from further afield, the nearest major airports are Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon. Both are within 2.5-3hrs drive to the wedding venue by rental car.
