Please join us in CELEBRATING OUR UNION! We will have a very small (private) elopement ceremony in the afternoon & look forward to welcoming everyone at Honey's Brooklyn once we've officially tied the knot. We can think of no better way to commemorate this insanely special occasion than by hosting the killer wedding party of a lifetime in our favorite place (Brooklyn) with our favorite people (YOU!). In addition to a sick local DJ & Mead made in-house, we plan to feature some of our Brooklyn faves like Roberta's, Banhmigos & Mama Yoshi Mini Mart. It is sure to be an excellent time & seeing you there would truly mean the world to us π€
Sun, Sep 1, 2024, 9:00 pm - Mon, Sep 2, 2024, 2:00 am
Location still TBD
We will continue the celebration well into the night for whoever would like to join! Location is still in the works but will be nearby in Brooklyn.
Hotel
We recommend staying in the Williamsburg area as this is a nice central neighborhood in relatively close proximity to Bushwick, where the party will take place but also very close to the city. Some good options below: Arlo Williamsburg Hotel Indigo Penny Williamsburg Moxy Williamsburg The William Vale Wythe Hotel βοΈ We will be staying at the Arlo βοΈ βοΈ If booking at Penny Willamsburg use code: PENNYWEDDING2024 βοΈ If you have questions about your selection/options or need insight on various areas, we are happy to weigh in!
Train
The subway is an excellent option for navigating NYC & BK. Just plug the final address into your preferred map app & follow the suggested route. To get to Prospect Park for the Welcome Picnic: there are a few of options including the BDFM & 4/5. To get to Honey's for the Wedding Party: take the L to Jefferson.
Travel Note
We also recommend using Uber or Lyft to easily get around the city & the outer boroughs.
Perfect for a sunny day. KB recommends the following itinerary for a stellar afternoon: 1. going to the Whitney Museum, 2. Wrapping up & grabbing Artichoke Pizza, 3. Heading up to the High Line to eat said pizza, 4. Walking the High Line, 5. Stopping at the Standard (fun fact: this is the only building that physically touches the High Line!)
Forever! Just kidding (kind of). If you'd like to make a trip out of this, we would recommend staying about 4-5 days in order to see everything worthwhile. We would be more than happy to provide tailored recommendations and/or a full itinerary for your trip. There is so much to do and see in the city we love most.
Elevated x cool! If you're unsure, ask Kendyll for advice.
There will be a small family-only elopement-style ceremony before the party. This is something we would like to do mostly privately - thank you for understanding. We look forward to celebrating with everyone at Honey's immediately afterward!
As much as we would love to welcome everyone, we do have a limited number of guests we're able to accommodate. Please refer to your invitation & plan to bring only those whose names are listed.
The website has everything you need to know! Feel free to also text the bride or groom - we'll do our very best to respond.
