How We Met
We met through dating apps, which might sound cliché. Our first date didn't go smoothly due to both of us getting food poisoning. However, we both can concur that after our second date, we realized this had the potential to become something truly extraordinary.
The Proposal
For the proposal, we decided to revisit one of our cherished date spots. It was evident that Josh had been meticulously planning for weeks, which included the creation of a custom ring by none other than Taylor Girouard, Kelley's sister. Our day began with a delightful afternoon of wine tasting, with our final tasting of the day being at Bergstrom Winery, our absolute favorite. Unbeknownst to Kelley, the winery had opened its doors exclusively for us that day. After savoring a few sips of wine, we embarked on a breathtaking stroll through the vineyard with a glass of wine in hand. It was during this walk that Josh, with the help of a discreet photographer, chose the perfect moment to drop to one knee and pop the question, capturing the entirety of the magical moment. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Carlton!

Getting to and from the venue?
Answer
We highly recommend to pre-order a ride to guarantee a safe ride home at the event end time of 10:00 PM. There is plenty of parking onsite, so feel free to drive if you'd prefer. The venue is about a 15 minute drive from McMinville, OR. We will encourage guest who plan to drink to plan ahead for a designated driver or pre-scheduled ride share through Uber or Lyft. We will have an event code to book your lyft for the event to and from the venue, posted here soon.

Indoor or outdoor wedding?
Answer
Outdoor ceremony in the warm summer afternoon followed by indoor reception, which is air conditioned. It does get chilly at night, so bring a light jacket or sweater if you wish.

Cocktail attire please. This includes summer semi-formal dresses/jumpsuits for ladies and a suit is preferable for gentlemen. Please no white attire.
