The wedding dress code is semi-formal. The wedding and reception will be outside on uneven ground so please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear. For those who are invited to the rehearsal dinner, we ask that you dress business casual.
We will have a fenced, grass lot to park in. While the lot does have decent space, if you are able to car pool, it is encouraged. Upon arrival, look for the gravel driveway with the large parking sign to get to the lot.
While the event will be held outside, we will have a tent for the reception. Please keep the weather in mind when deciding what to wear.
Unfortunately we will not be inviting children to the wedding unless they are in the wedding party. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Plus one's will be specified on the invitation that we send out. If an additional guest is not specified, you will not be permitted to bring a guest. This is to help support us in keeping within our budget and we hope you understand. Feel free to reach out to Keiana or Max personally for any questions or concerns.
We are very excited to share that we have booked a food and dessert truck for our special day. We will have Dop Pizza for our dinner with light appetizers at cocktail hour. We also will have a variety of sweets through out the evening, with The Cow Frozen Ice and Custard that will be joining us later in the reception. If you have any food allergies or concerns, please contact Max or Keiana personally.
As far as drinks, we will have a limited bar featuring signature drinks and some non-alcoholic options. If you would like to contribute, please feel free to bring your own beverages to enjoy. If you would like to share your beverages with with the other guests, please bring them to our bartender to store and put on ice. To avoid any clutter at the location, if you would like to bring beverages for yourself, please keep coolers in your car or please keep them at the campground. We strongly encourage supporting our bartender through tipping. We will have a cash tip jar available.
Immediately following the ceremony, cocktail hour will begin. Guests will be instructed to head to the bar area to pick out their glass and identify their table number for the reception. The bar will be open, and light refreshments will be offered. No smoking will be permitted during the ceremony or under the tent at any point. Please use appropriate trash cans and ash trays. It is important that we all respect those who choose not to drink and/or smoke, please utilize the designated smoking area or the campground only.
The Bride and Groom are excited to provide a camping area on the property, for those who would like to stay. There will be access to restrooms, lighting, trash bins and electricity. We ask that you bring your own tent, blankets, etc. This area is located down the hill from the parking lot and to the right. There is ample space roped off with access to the creek and a fire pit. The Boonsboro Inn is the closest hotel to the venue. It is a beautiful historic hotel right in the heart of Main Street, approximately 5 minutes away. It is in walking distance to a few restaurants and Stone Werks Bakery and Coffee shop.
