The Universe gathered us together - via the interwebs :)
We didn’t meet in a classroom, or across a crowded office, or even by chance at a local bar. Our story started somewhere a little more… modern and maybe a little more magical. One day, Keely was scrolling through Instagram when she stumbled upon Danny. And just like that, she thought, “Wow… who is this?” She was instantly drawn to his music taste, his vibe, his love for all things groovy. She didn’t say a word, but definitely kept him on her radar (and yes… checked in on him more than once 😉). As fate (and a very persuasive algorithm) would have it, Danny soon found his way to Keely’s page too. He was completely taken - captivated by her funky style, her radiant spirit, and her love for life. But unlike Keely, Danny shot his shot! He reached out… and asked her to breakfast. And just like that, with one brave message and a little digital serendipity, something beautiful began. The rest? Pure magic.

Hey sweet friends and family! We’ve reserved a cozy block of rooms at this beautiful hotel right on the Virginia Beach oceanfront because who doesn’t love a little salty breeze and sunrise magic? If you choose not to drive to the wedding location, a shuttle will be available at this hotel to whisk you to and from the Wildwood Homestead, so you can relax and just enjoy every moment. That said, there are so many dreamy options in different price-points nearby. From charming beach houses in Sandbridge to peaceful campgrounds with adorable cabin rentals tucked throughout the area. But, we encourage you to book fast - we are a resort city. Wherever you choose to land, we just can’t wait to celebrate with you! How far is the wedding location from the hotel we have recommended on our webpage?
Answer
Both the hotel and the wedding venue are located in Virginia Beach. We are a big city! Our wedding venue is situated in the Pungo vicinity of Virginia Beach - so, about a 30-minute drive (with traffic) to the Wildwood Homestead (aka: Mom and Dad's house) from the Hilton and other hotels at the city's oceanfront. If you are staying at Sandbridge - more of a quiet residential beach area of VB - then you will still need to plan a 20-minute drive (or so) to the wedding.

What should I wear?
Answer
Our wedding is fully outdoors… in November… in Virginia Beach - so basically, we’re letting the weather spin the wheel... It could be a balmy 90° or a crisp 40° (or both in the same day - who knows!). We recommend checking the forecast for 23457 before you head our way, and just know we’ll have a big, beautiful tent ready, plus cozy creature comforts like blankets and outdoor heaters if the chill decides to join the party. As for what to wear - have fun with it! Whether it’s your favorite dressy frock and heels, bib overalls with galoshes, or a sharp suit with wingtips, we are simply thrilled to have you there celebrating with us. 💛 Just a couple tiny requests… bring a coat and your dancin' shoes!

Why can't I bring my kids?

WE PROMISE... We are NOT child-haters! :( We even want to make babies of our own someday! And we absolutely want to celebrate with EVERYONE, including your beautiful kiddos whom we ALSO love dearly. Sadly, in order for us to get a permit to hold this event at our family's estate, we have to limit the number of guests we can invite. Creating a guest list has been the most incredibly difficult process! We're so sorry for any challenges this creates for travel plans or babysitters... Forgive us! Now... Let's party! Cheers!
