It started with a swipe… And a message not properly processed. Then, there was a deleted profile (a lapse in time). A new profile and the return of the lost Kayleigh.. Then - a meet up. A breakfast date. A date where Kayleigh rocked up in her mum’s new jumper after a wardrobe fail and running out of time. A date where we spoke about a million different things and nothing at the same time, and none of those ‘first date’ questions. A connection. A connection that developed that was strong and confusing for Kayleigh- she hadn’t met anyone like Gian. This was different. This was scary. A connection that developed for Gian that was strong and affirming for Gian- he knew that he wanted Kayleigh and he made sure to tell her this. Lots of different conversations followed - full of any conversation topic you can think of, and millions of teas, coffees, brunches, meals, laughter, shows, shopping, family events and lots of ‘little things’ and ‘little moments’. Lots of growing together. Lots of working towards understanding each others’ qualities and helping each other thrive with these. Lots of working towards understanding the areas we each find harder, and ways we can support these areas too. Gian was always there. Kayleigh was always there. We became one. So let’s make it official…

Empezamos deslizando hacia la derecha… y con un mensaje que.. se perdió. Luego se perdió el perfil de Kayleigh pero solo fue un lapsus. Se volvieron a encontrar, y volvieron hacer ‘match’. No os preocupéis. Y luego, hubo un encuentro en persona de verdad. Una cita desayuno (claro). Una cita en la que Kayleigh apareció con el jersey nuevo de su madre (tuvo un fallo de vestuario y no tuvo tiempo de cambiarse). Una cita en la que hablamos de un millón de cosas diferentes y de nada a la vez. Una cita en la que no hubo ninguna de esas preguntas ‘típicas’. Tuvimos una conexión. Una conexión que se fue desarrollando de una forma maravillosa, con una velocidad y con una fuerza que dejó a una Kayleigh “confusa”, nunca había conocido a alguien como Gian. Eso era diferente. Eso daba miedo. Una conexión que para Gian fue reafirmada “él sabía con certeza que quería a Kayleigh” y se aseguró que lo supiera ella también. Seguimos con muchas conversaciones diferentes, llenas de cualquier tema que puedas imaginar, y millones de tés, cafés, brunch, comidas, risas, shows, compras, eventos familiares y un sinfín de ‘pequeñas cosas’ y ‘pequeños momentos’. Y crecimos y trabajamos juntos. Trabajamos juntos para entender las cualidades de uno y del otro y para entender los puntos débiles. Para saber qué ayuda le hace falta a cada uno, para poder proporcionársela y así sentirnos mejor. Gian siempre estuvo allí. Kayleigh siempre estuvo allí. Ya nos convertimos en uno. Así que … hagámoslo oficial…
