How we met
Ryan and Kayla both went to Tonawanda High School but did not talk or know each other well during those years. In 2019 Ryan reached out to Kayla on Facebook, asking her on their first date. They ended up grabbing some drinks at a bar by the Niagara River. Kayla drank her signature Gin & Tonic, Ryan drank his signature Jack & Coke. They had their first kiss before saying goodbye that night and the rest is history 🤍
The proposal
Ryan planned a surprise trip for Kayla to one of their all time favorite places, White Sands National Park in New Mexico. They had visited White Sands a few years prior to the proposal, while on a weekend trip, and they fell in love with the beauty and peaceful nature of the park. Exactly 4 years after their first date, with a secret photographer hiding out nearby, Ryan got down on one knee and asked Kayla to marry him 🤍

Yes! The nearby Silverlaken Estates has a limited number of cabins available for overnight stay. We also blocked a limited number of rooms for overnight stay at the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Warsaw. Please call either hotel to book and reference “Gray Wedding June 14th 2025”. A complimentary shuttle will be provided to those staying at Silverlaken Estates.
