Our Love Story
Our love story began in March of 2019. At that time, we were two college students looking forward to enjoying our Spring Break in Miami. Little did we know as we flew to Miami that we would eventually meet the person that would change our lives forever. Upon meeting each other one evening in Miami, we exchanged information and after spring break we headed back to our respective campuses. Hampton University for Kayla and North Carolina A&T for BJ. Over the next few months, we talked on the phone every day getting to know each other and building on our initial connection. As time went on our connection grew, and we knew we wanted to build a special relationship with God leading us towards a common goal of marriage. Through God’s grace, we joyfully invite you to celebrate our union. We are so excited to continue the next chapter of our lives together as one.

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! To keep things personal, unless your invitation includes a plus-one, we kindly ask that you do not bring a plus-one unless they are specifically named on the invitation.

Children at the Wedding
Answer
While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration for guests 18 and older. The only exceptions are the children who are part of our wedding party. We hope this allows everyone to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the evening with us!

Answer
Self-parking in the adjacent Mason Street Parking Deck is available for $5.00 per car per day for both overnight guest and day guest. Overnight guest parking will be placed on each guest folio; day guest may pay at the deck kiosk using a gate-issued ticket. Entry to the deck is located on MLK Jr. Way/Cantrell Boulevard. A covered walkway is situated between the deck and the Hotel's mezzanine entrance.
