On June 24th, 2019, fate brought us together as we stepped into our new roles at Citigroup in Tampa, fresh graduates from Florida State University. Though we had never crossed paths during our college years, our matching navy blue outfits sparked a conversation that would change our lives forever. As we navigated the unfamiliar world of corporate America, we found comfort and friendship in each other, quickly becoming inseparable. As roommates, our bond deepened, and our feelings blossomed into something beautiful and unexpected. With hearts full of love and a touch of nervousness, we shared our truth with our families, revealing that we were more than just best friends. Little did we know that first day of orientation would lead us to a shared life in a new city, the pitter-patter of Bo's paws in our first home, and now, the promise of forever sealed in marriage.

We selected this vibrant neighborhood to stay in for its culinary treasures. Our personal favorite, Girl & the Goat, calls this area home. For a diverse gastronomic adventure, we highly recommend exploring Time Out Market too.
No visit to Chicago is complete without marveling at Cloud Gate, affectionately known as "The Bean" - a perfect spot for a memorable photo.
Indulge in a slice of Chicago sweetness at this beloved Mexican bakery, a mandatory pit stop for us on every visit.
We went to TILT on our first trip to Chicago, it's an enclosed moving platform that tilts you 1,030 feet out over Michigan Avenue. The breathtaking views and extra element of excitement created a memory we'll never forget. Tickets should be purchased in advance.
In 2021, an enchanting stroll through Garfield Conservatory planted a seed in Jess' heart, which grew into a beautiful moment two years later. In November 2023, surrounded by the lush greenery of the Biltmore Conservatory in Asheville, NC, Jess proposed to Kay. Admission to Garfield Conservatory is free.
Yes! While our celebration unfolds indoors, we invite you to embrace the essence of a lush garden party with a Garden Formal dress code. We encourage attire that complements our venue's vibrant, natural backdrop—think elegant garden party meets indoor sophistication. For women: Consider flowing cocktail dresses or elegant jumpsuits in soft, nature-inspired hues reminiscent of garden blooms. Pair your outfit with refined heels or dressy flats, and accessorize with your favorite jewelry. For men: Choose from a range of suit colors, from light pastels to dark, sophisticated hues. Pair your suit with dress shirts, with or without ties, and complete the look with dress shoes. Feel free to incorporate subtle floral accents through ties or pocket squares.
To ensure an evening of harmonious celebration for all, we have opted for an intimate, adults-only gathering.
While we have secured a block of rooms at The Emily Hotel, and warmly encourage immediate family members to stay there for convenience during pre-wedding preparations, we understand that our guests may have varied preferences. For those seeking alternatives nearby, we've personally enjoyed stays at The Hoxton, Loews Chicago, and Kimpton Gray Hotel. Choose the accommodation that best suits your needs—we're simply thrilled to have you join us in celebration.
With our guests nestled in various corners of the city, we've opted to forgo arranged transportation, allowing you the freedom to explore Chicago at your own pace. We recommend utilizing ride-sharing services such as Uber or Lyft for convenient and reliable transit to and from the venue.
