How we met

Love in the time of COVID

It was a dating app success story....eventually. Andrew and Sarah scheduled their first date on March 13, 2020 after exchanging messages for a few days online. The world was changing rapidly, however, and Andrew had a sniffle as that first date approached. They decided it was probably best to play it safe and reschedule. "We'll see if next week gets any better!" they both said. Then the world quickly shut down. Enter: Pandemic. As you can imagine, Sarah and Andrew found it harder and harder to meet up and sadly their conversations fizzled. Months went by and separate pandemic adventures were had. Yet, Sarah and Andrew kept each others numbers. Both checked in periodically, but only once the time was right, they tried that first date at Sardine Bar over again on August 25, 2020. Sarah was first drawn to Andrew's eyes. Andrew was as well. They were initially both wearing super stylish masks at first after all. But the conversation flowed and it was evident that the genuine connection and shared interests were there. It felt right then, and it still does, more than ever, today. Please check out their photo gallery for some of their favorite memories!
