6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Casual
We will not be hosting a proper rehearsal dinner, but will have a casual soup and salad gathering with out of town guests and family on Friday evening. We wanted to offer you a place to land once you arrive in Durham and welcome you with a hearty meal. That said, there is no obligation to get to Durham early for this dinner! If you are already in town please stop by. We would love to see you before the wedding on Saturday! You will be receiving an email from Meredith Witten with any further details including parking options as the house is on a busy Blvd.
4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Our wedding will be at our new home, informally called Pine Hill (bird and deer santuary) by previous owners.
The ceremony will be on a slightly sloped backyard. The reception and feasting will follow under a tent and beneath the tree canopy in our yard.
Hotel
The hotel is having a 10 year anniversary sale right now. Heads up that the offer is non-refundable. I used to work here as a Barista so I thought I'd put this mid-century modern stay as an option. They have a wonderful, open foyer with really good food and a special one of a kind coffee soda!
Hotel
My family often stays here as a treat when they visit and because it is not too far from the farm. There is a lovely 3 mile walking trail around the grounds of the Inn and it is on Duke's campus.

Please check your invite for your +1!
As much as we love our friends' little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception with the exception of family and those participating in our ceremony. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the Friday gathering. We can also assist with finding a friend who would love to babysit if needed. Please reach out if you have questions!
TBD! The end of September in North Carolina Piedmont falls in that space between late summer and early fall. Check the weather forecast as the weekend approaches and we will update you as needed.
We will have signs directing you to park along Murphy School Road, which is a gravel road. There will not be parking in our driveway as it is tricky to get in and out with car congestion. We will have someone directing parking as needed.
We want you to dress in whatever brings you the most joy and feels festive! In proper terms, it will be a semi-formal wedding.
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors and our reception will be outside, but under a tent :)
The ceremony and reception will be outside so make sure to wear shoes that you feel comfortable in. If you want to show off those stiletto's in the grass that is fine by us too!
You can reach out to either of us! Katy by cell (1-919-381-0671) or email at lindleyklp@gmail.com. Scott by cell (1-919-606-6483) or email at s_w_w@yahoo.com
