We met when Katrina was 16 and I was 18. I was hanging out with my friend and my friend asked if I wanted to go hang out with another friend of theirs. Little did I know that first meeting changed my life. They say teenage love is just a phase. A warm spark that burns out. However, more than a decade later that spark never faded. It grew brighter with every passing year. We grew up together. We navigated our teenage years and early adult hood together. We held each other through every season. We chose each other when we were young and foolish and again now that we are grown. Here is to many more years of forever to us.
