As we sat in Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, totally oblivious to what was to come, I was showing Trent various photos of rings to give him a little inspiration. Unknown to me he and Shane (his dad) were exchanging glances and thoughts of how clueless I was of what was about to happen. Shane was very persistent about going on a walk along the beach, and once we started walking Trent was very adamant that him and I get a picture, which was strange because his camera roll is mostly of the dog. As we started taking photos, I could feel a shift in his demeanor and as I turned around there he was. On one knee waiting for me, I couldn't hardly contain the excited so much that the only I was getting out was one exciting scream, "YES". Although our journey started in 2020, this was one moment neither of us will forget, because who gets yelled at in the most exciting yet nerve racking moments.
