The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse
The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is a reflection of an artistic tradition that stretches back nearly 2,000 years in Central Asia and honors Boulder's sister city relationship with Dushanbe, Tajikistan. From 1987 to 1990, more than 40 skilled artisans in Tajikistan created the intricate decorative elements of the teahouse, including the hand-carved and hand-painted ceiling, ornate tables, carved columns, and the colorful ceramic panels on the exterior. Is the reception inside or outside?
Answer
Our reception space is indoors with some outside space for games and photos! The weather in Boulder in May is usually sunny and 60-70° in the afternoon with the possibility of scattered rain showers, and cooler at night. Keep in mind that Boulder is also at an elevation of 5,430 feet, which makes the sun and the alcohol stronger!

Is there parking at the celebration venue?
Answer
Parking in downtown Boulder is available but limited. Our reception and after party locations are both walking distance from lodging near downtown Pearl Street and a brief drive from most Boulder downtown hotels. Ubers and Lyfts are easy to get and are recommended if you will be drinking with us.

Can we bring kids or plus ones?
Answer
Due to space constraints we are only able to accomodate those we've sent our invitations to! Full families or plus ones will be included on your RSVP page.

What is cocktail style attire?
Answer
We want you to be comfortable and enjoy yourself! If cocktail style attire would be fun for you, suits, blazers or dress pants for men and skirts, dresses or jumpsuits for women are great options.
