Depending on who you ask the details change, but the story begins somewhat the same. Katie and Omero's paths crossed during a mutual friend's house party. Katie was seeing someone else who was friends with Omero at the time. As most parties were during that time, people come and go. Katie and Omero stayed friends through social media but eventually lost contact. Both moving on with their lives and relationships. Fast forward to the Summer of 2020, where no one knew what was going to happen during the pandemic. Omero found Katie on social media again and decided to reach out. To his delight, Katie responded back and that's when they reconnected. Eventually Katie and Omero started hanging out outside by the garage and then they eventually started dating. One of their first "dates" was eating Togos by the lake in Newark. And the rest is history.
