What's the dress code?

Answer

Come as you are! We'll be dressed in a suit and wedding gown, but please wear what makes you comfortable. The average Sept. temperature in Trade, TN is 73/49 and the wedding will be outdoors. The ceremony will take place on a grass lawn. There will be covered areas to protect from inclement weather, but we recommend layers for when it cools down in the evening!

Is the venue kid friendly?

Answer

Yes, but be aware that there are some not-so-friendly obstacles including a pond, electric fence, and cows. We love your kids, and would love to see them! We also want them to remain safe. Please be prepared to keep an eye out!

Where should we stay?

Answer

There is room for everyone to tent camp (seriously!), but hotels in Boone are also available. Book early to avoid competing with football fans and leaf peepers.

We are planning to have a cookout! There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, and sides. There will be vegetarian and gluten free options too!

Answer

From Boone, take US 321/421 N out of town. Continue past the Tennessee border, and look for White Fence Farm on the left approximately .5 miles past the border. If you're flying in, the closest airports are Asheville and Charlotte.
