How did we meet?
Shane and Katia’s journey began in the most unexpected yet meaningful way—at work. Just as Shane was settling into his new life in Port St. Lucie after moving from Broward County, Katia was preparing to embark on her path to becoming a nurse. Their timing couldn’t have been more perfect. What started as casual conversations between coworkers quickly blossomed into something special. For Shane, meeting Katia made Port St. Lucie feel like home from the very start, and for Katia, finding someone who brought comfort, laughter, and unwavering support into her life just as she was stepping into the next chapter of her future felt like the stars had truly aligned. Their connection grew effortlessly, filled with shared goals, deep respect, and genuine love—laying the foundation for the beautiful life they’re now building together. At the heart of their relationship is a shared love of God and a deep Christian faith that continues to guide and strengthen them through every season. On October 1st, they’ll celebrate five incredible years of love, growth, and faith—a journey filled with grace, purpose, and countless blessings.

Yes, our ceremony will be held outdoors, and fans will be provided for your comfort. As of now, the forecast shows a high of 72°F and a low of 65°F, so we kindly encourage you to dress accordingly and bring a light layer just in case. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
