Answered Prayers
Both of them had been praying for God to bring that special person into their lives that could turn into “The One.” Kathleen had been doing her own thing and hiking in North Georgia when a good friend suggested she join a Christian online Facebook group called Cornerstone. Kathleen joined and organized a local hike with the group. Brian showed up to the hike and they were able to connect. It wasn’t until a month later that they met back up at a small worship night that he got the courage to ask her out to Cafe Intermezzo. Both leaving the date giddy and excited at the possibility of a real connection and having so much in common, they kept going out on hikes and dates, and the rest is history!

Cambria Hotel Charleston Riverview
The Cambria Riverview will be our host hotel! The Cambria offers a free shuttle into downtown Charleston and back for those that want to hang out in downtown Charleston over the weekend! We have arranged shuttle transportation to leave from The Cambria Hotel at 5:00 PM for Magnolia Transportation & Gardens and the shuttle will leave after the reception at 10:30 PM to return guests to the Cambria Hotel. Please keep in mind that the shuttle can only seat a max of 38 guests, so it will be first come first served for the shuttle. If you do not make it for a seat on the shuttle, feel free to follow the shuttle to Magnolia Plantation and Gardens or take an Uber/Lyft from the Cambria Hotel. Magnolia Plantation and Gardens does have a place for pickup for Uber/Lyfts.

Where can I park upon arrival to Magnolia Plantation & Gardens?
Answer
Drive all the way to the end of the long driveway and you will see the large parking lot. You can park anywhere in the lot.

Where do I go for the Wedding Ceremony once I have parked?
Answer
Head toward the entrance where the ticketing booth and main entrance to Magnolia Plantation & Gardens is located, and you will see signs to direct you. Once you have arrived, our wedding planners Linda and Carrie will direct you on where to go!

Is there a cocktail hour after the Wedding Ceremony?
Answer
Yes! You will be directed on where to go for the cocktail hour after the ceremony.

Where will the Wedding Reception take place?
Answer
As long as there are not heavy rains or a storm, the Reception will take place on the back lawn of the Plantation Home. If there are heavy rains or a storm, the Reception will take place on the Piazza/Veranda of the Plantation Home.

Are there restrooms nearby?
Answer
Yes! You can ask our wedding planners where they are located if you cannot spot them.

Can I walk around Magnolia Plantation & Gardens before the Wedding Ceremony?
Answer
The grounds will be open, feel free to walk around ! Just be mindful that there may be other weddings taking place at the Carriage House or the Live Oak Pavilion, so try to keep your voice down if near to those areas!
