Zack and I met in the best of the 4 seasons I believe--fall. I remember going to the county fair with my twin sister and my cousin. Usually this meant we would stay into night fall and hangout with friends that we ran into, ride the sketchy rides, play games I could never win, and eat the addicting food. The air had a brisk, cold chill to it. My sister and I saw a group of people we went to school with. With them, stood a very handsome fellow that absolutely caught my eye immediately. Dark hair, dark beard, dark eyes, a handsome face... yeah, he had me reeled in right away. Just before stepping away to leave we hugged everyone good bye, including him. I've been a hugger my whole life, so why not? We were the last to embrace each other, and in that moment neither of us chose to release our grip and step away. Some sort of safe comfort came over us and we just felt fine with this continuing embrace, as if we both chose to shut the rest of the world out in this moment. A side comment from one of his friends snapped us back into reality, something along the lines of "well soak up the moment why don't you?", and we absolutely did. We happily exchanged phone numbers and I decided to reach out to him. We began to see each other and then hung onto being together for 12 years before he proposed to me on March 3rd, 2024 in front of the tree of life at Disney World's Animal Kingdom. I applaud him on the location choice because we both have loved animals our whole life. We now live happily engaged, awaiting for the 19th of October to arrive to finally secure our unity as a couple and accepting hands in marriage. It is a day we are both looking forward to and cannot wait to celebrate with loved ones and friends, the unconditional love and life time bond we are to promise each other. To tell you that I cannot wait to marry my best friend, is completely and understatement. Sincerely, - An eager bride
