Our beginning
We met when I worked at a restaurant that his apartment was attached to and he was working nights, so I’d only hear of “ Uncle Lee” , because he only stopped in here and there, the first time we met I said “Why do they call you Uncle Lee” and he said “because I have bad knees and I’m your uncle “which made me crack up ,so I instantly loved his sense of humor and wit . I met him a few more times and instantly had a crush , we talked a lot about everything, in person and over the phone ( sometimes all night ) I loved being around him and had the most fun with him .I think we both knew we’d found the one !
Engagement
This is a long one ! We’d discussed marriage and he asked me to pick out some rings I liked to give him an idea, well at least a year went by and every time we’d go to dinner or anything I’d think he was going down on his knee and he’d tie his shoe , or be at an incredibly romantic restaurant and he grabbed my hand and I was like this isssss it , and nope , so role forward to this epic cross country trip we planned and we’re talking and I said something about a ring and he says “Katherine what ring ? I don’t know what you’re talking about “, well I was silently simmering now thinking why did I pick a ring out at all ? We are now out in Utah in the third week of our trip and I’ve given up thinking it’s happening during this soon to end trip and especially after his comment about the ring before we left and just focused on being present , towards the end of our time in Utah we go to see these beautiful petrified dunes with our friends Preston and Becky and Preston takes off to the top like a rocket to get a photo of us so i go up to this spot too to stand next to him and I’m getting into position and all of sudden I see him on his knee and I step back in sheer disbelief, overwhelming excitement and trying to actually figure out what was happening because he truly surprised me with the most epic proposal ! I was stunned ! I later found out I was carrying the ring around in Chicago ( our first stop ) and of course had no idea , he had the ring the entire time even when he said what ring ?! I love how he made it so perfect for me

This rate expires 8/27/2024 so you must BOOK before than to get discount! Discount expires 8/27/2024 INSTRUCTIONS: Your booking instructions: Please have guests call the Front Desk Directly at (609)551-0000 and Dial "0" and tell the agent they are booking with a group. The hotel can not guarantee early check-in for Saturday bookers but they have assured me they will do there best and will hold luggage until after wedding Should you run into any issues please see the manager Britney Jorden she assured me she will even put in a locked conference room if need be
