Where and when will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the Carnegie Museum of Art located at 4400 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. All events will take place inside. Guests can begin arriving at 5:30 pm. The ceremony will start at 6 pm, followed immediately by cocktail hour. The reception will end at 11:30 pm.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal, black tie optional. We would love for everyone to get dressed up with us! For women, we request that a floor length dress or gown is worn. For men, we request that a suit and tie are worn, with the option to wear a tuxedo. Additionally, shoes are required to be worn inside the museum at all times. We encourage you to bring a second pair of comfortable shoes for dancing. Are kids welcome?

Our event will be an adults-only event and we are unable to make any exceptions. Please leave your little ones at home and enjoy a fun night out.

Dates and plus-ones will be included on formal invitations. We kindly ask that you do not bring additional guests if they are not listed on your invitation.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

If you choose to drive, there is a parking garage located behind the museum that is available at an hourly rate.

Do you have a hotel recommendation?

Answer

We have hotel blocks reserved at the Courtyard Pittsburgh University Center and the Oaklander Hotel. Both hotels are within walking distance to the venue. Please visit the Travel tab for more information and for the reservation links to access the group rate.

Will I have day of access to the museum?

Answer

All of our guests will have free admission to the museum the entire day of our wedding. Please enjoy!

Is there an after party?

Answer

Yes! Please join us following the end of the reception for an after party at Spirits & Tales, located in the Oaklander Hotel at 5130 Bigelow Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. The after party will run from 11:30 pm to 2 am.
