Our Story

Our story began with a prayer. We were both at a point in life where we were looking for something real—someone to share not just love, but also faith. Our first date was in March 2024, the same day daylight saving time started. Nothing went perfectly—we were a little late, the plan was more spontaneous than expected—but it all felt right. Natural. Comfortable. Real. From that day, we knew something special was unfolding. A year later, on Valentine’s Day, came the proposal. With nerves, excitement, and so much joy, we said yes to a life together—built on love, faith, and trust in what God has planned for us.

Arrive Early to the Ceremony

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 11am. Church doors will close and no late arrivers will be admitted. Anticipate traffic! Plan your commute in advance. There is a Naval Academy Football game on Saturday, and the streets near and around the church will be busy. We recommend you be seated in the church by 10:30 am, or 10:45am the latest. Please only our professional photographer may take pictures. No cell phones. -

To honor the moment, we kindly ask that no photos be taken during the ceremony. A professional photographer will be capturing everything, and we’ll be happy to share the photos with you afterward.

This hotel is relatively new and rooms are available at a reasonable price. We have no official room block here. Driving distance is 25 minutes to the wedding ceremony, and only 9 minutes from the reception hall. Coming and going from the Microtel can be tricky on Route 3. Travel through the shopping area when leaving the hotel to get to Route 3 North towards Annapolis, as opposed to driving the longer U-Turn.

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson is managed by the parent company "Choice Hotels". We have no official room block here. This hotel is equidistant from the ceremony site and reception site. Enjoy the Annapolis themed lobby, and proximity to the popular Annapolis Mall. About 17 minutes driving to St. Mary's Parish, in downtown Annapolis.
