Aloft Newport on the Levee
We have a room block with discounted rates at Aloft located on Newport on the Levee. You need to book using our reservation link below or by calling the hotel directly at (859) 916-5306 and telling them you are booking under the Jamison Wedding Room Block. The rates are $149 plus tax for a room with one king bed and $152 plus tax for a room with two queen beds. A few important notes: - All reservations need to be made by October 8th to guarantee you get the discounted rate. - By default, your room may be selected for check in on Friday, November 7th and check out on Monday, November 10th. If you only need to stay the night of the wedding then make sure you update check in to Saturday, November 8th, and check out to Sunday, November 9th. - Check in is not until 4 pm and early check-in is not guaranteed. If you need to ensure you have access to your room before 4 pm, it is recommended to book the room for the night before too. - Check out is 11 am. - Dogs can stay for free! - The card used to hold the room should not be charged until you check in at the property and you can also change your payment method at that time, if needed. - On-site parking is $10 daily - you will only be charged a parking fee per night (e.g. checking in on Friday and checking out on Sunday would incur two parking fees). - The hotel is less than 1 mile from the venue!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! There will be beer, wine, and stirred cocktails along with non-alcoholic options.

What if I have dietary restrictions?
Answer
If you have any dietary restrictions (allergies, sensitivities, vegetarianism, etc.) that you need us to accommodate, let us know! We want to ensure we are inclusive and are considering dietary restrictions when selecting vendors, so the more information we know in advance will help ensure we meet all of our guests' needs.

How do I RSVP?
Answer
You can RSVP on our website, by returning via mail the RSVP included in your formal wedding invitation, or by contacting us directly. If you are like Katelyn and plan WAY ahead and already know before you receive the formal invitation whether or not you can attend, you can RSVP early via our website!

When should I RSVP?
Answer
You can RSVP as early as you would like but no later than October 3rd so that we have an accurate headcount for the venue and vendors.

What if I didn't RSVP in time?
Answer
If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as a no. We will miss celebrating with you but we have to give our vendors final guest counts and will be unable to accommodate any additional guests after that date.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We want to keep our day as intimate as possible, so only those formally listed on your invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, that will be stated on your invite and RSVP.

Are my children invited?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our venue can only accommodate a limited number of guests, so this is strictly an adult-only event with an exception for direct family members. If your children are invited, they will be named on your Save the Date, formal wedding invitation, and RSVP.

Casual to dressy casual attire is perfect, we only request no blue jeans.

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Headquarters in Newport, Kentucky.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony starts at 4:30. Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to ensure you have time to park and take your seat. Once the ceremony begins, no entrance will be granted until it concludes.

Where do I park?
Answer
There is a free public parking lot directly across the street. There is street parking in front of the venue that we request remain available for guests who need it most. Please drive responsibly! It is free to leave your car in the parking lot overnight, so use an Uber or Lyft (or a sober driver) if you need to be driven to your home/hotel.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We would like our loved ones to be fully present in the moment with us, so we ask that you keep your phones on silent and away during the ceremony. Besides, we've hired a professional to take photos for a reason! We are more than happy for you to take photos/videos after the ceremony. We will have an online album you can use to share them!
