Kate & Nate, Just Call it Fate
Like most modern romances, Kate and Nate's story began on a dating app. But behind the scenes, the universe was conspiring in their favor. Just before their first date, Kate visited a tarot card reader who, for the first time ever, pulled love cards. Meanwhile, Nate found himself inexplicably drawn to Kate, even though it took them months to nail down a date (Nate's edit: "even though she skirted a date for 6 months"). Their first date was a comedy of errors: they both arrived late and unfortunately experienced food poisoning the next day. Yet, against the odds, the evening ended with a breathtaking kiss beneath a snowy, orange sky in South Minneapolis. As they spent more time together, serendipity followed. Kate’s condo faced Nate’s, they spoke a little French, they both loved cookie dough and to travel. Each coincidence only deepened the feeling that this was “something special.” Their first trip to New York City paved the way for future travels. From exploring glaciers in Iceland to cruising the Amalfi Coast and wandering under the midnight sun in Oslo, they’ve created dreamy memories along the way. This past spring, one core memory was created when Nate proposed to Kate in Paris. And oui, oui, here we are today.

Should your schedule allow, please join us for an informal brunch with our favorite people! We will serve an assortment of pastries, mimosas, juice, coffee. There is limited onsite parking in motor court, other wise there is nearby street parking.

There is a parking ramp connected with our venue on South 8th Street. We will validate your ticket if you park in the ramp. We also suggest ride share if you are not staying in a nearby hotel.

Black-Tie Optional: Tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required. We don’t have a full color scheme, but encourage guests to incorporate black, champagne, and jewel tones into their outfits. The average temperature on this date is 58°. In addition to the indoor ballrooms there is a lovely outdoor patio to enjoy weather permitting.
