Where should I park for the ceremony?

Answer

All guests for the ceremony may park for free in the Forbes Avenue Garage. After parking, take the attached elevator to the 8th floor and cross campus to the Chapel (Old Main Administration Building). You will receive a validated ticket at the Chapel for use when you exit.

How long is the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will include a full mass and will last around 1 hour.

What should I do during communion if I am not Catholic?

Answer

During communion, you may choose to remain in your seat or line up to receive a blessing from the priest -- When you approach the priest, cross your arms touching either shoulder to indicate you will not receive the Eucharist.

How far away is the Reception from the Ceremony?

The Reception venue is approvximately 15-20 minutes away from the Chapel.

What food will be provided at the Reception?

Answer

There will be displayed and passed hor d'hourves during the cocktail hour as well as a plated dinner, cake, and a Pittsburgh Cookie Table. A wide assortment of beverages will be provided, as well as alcoholic drinks for guests 21+.
