The fall of 2011 was when our paths crossed in the most unexpected way. We were both at Rutgers University, navigating different phases of our college lives—one of us a sophomore just arriving from Malaysia as a transfer student, the other a senior with one foot already out the door toward the next chapter. It was on DateMySchool.com that we first connected, a platform neither of us had particularly high expectations for. Little did we know it would change everything. From the moment we started talking, something just clicked. The messages turned into long conversations, and before we knew it, we had set a date to meet in person. That first date on a rainy evening will always stay with us—a movie and dinner at a dine-in theater. We laughed, we talked, and we shared a meal while watching The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. By the end of the night, we knew this is more than just a fleeting connection. By spring of 2012, it was official—we were a couple. Our connection only grew stronger as we shared more of our lives with each other. One of the most memorable moments came years later when we traveled to Forks, Washington, the location where the first Twilight movie was filmed. Standing in the very places that had once lit up the screen, we couldn’t help but reflect on how far we’d come since that first movie date. Our story began with a chance online encounter, but it’s been built on years of shared laughter, adventures, and a love that continues to deepen. Together, we’ve created something even more magical than any movie could capture.

Formal Attire: Suits with dress shoes are recommended for men, and floor-length gowns or ankle-length dresses for women.
As we celebrate love under the golden hues of fall, please dress in formal attire suited for an outdoor setting—think layers for warmth, comfortable yet elegant shoes for grassy paths, and perhaps a stylish coat or shawl to stay cozy!
Flight
For guests flying in, we recommend using Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). It’s the most convenient option for the wedding location.

October in Pottstown, PA, offers charming fall weather, with daytime highs around 63°F (17°C) and cooler evenings dropping to approximately 47°F (8°C). As our wedding will be outdoors, we kindly ask guests to dress in formal attire. We recommend layering your outfit and bringing a sophisticated coat or shawl to stay warm when the temperature dips. In the event of rain, we’ll move the celebration indoors, so no need to worry about the weather interrupting the festivities.
We are truly grateful for your presence at our wedding—it means the world to us! Should you wish to bless us with a gift, you are welcome to send it to our home. For your convenience, there will also be a card box available at the reception.
