Our story began in Nebraska... Go Huskers! What started with a brave first move from David, who worked up the courage to come over and say hello, turned into the greatest adventure of our lives. On our very first date, we couldn't stop laughing. The conversation flowed effortlessly, the chemistry was undeniable, and from that moment on, we knew there was something special between us. As our relationship grew, we realized that we brought out the best in each other. We encouraged one another to chase our dreams, grow together, and become better every day. Somewhere along the way, we discovered that home wasn't a place, it was simply wherever we were together. Sometimes, all it takes is one look into each other's eyes to know exactly what the other is thinking. When it came time to propose, David wanted to make the moment even more meaningful by asking me in Spanish. It took him several days to learn the perfect words, but hearing "¿Te quieres casar conmigo?" in my native language made that unforgettable moment even more special. Lo que empezó con un acto de valentía por parte de David, quien decidió acercarse a hablarme, terminó cambiando nuestras vidas para siempre. En nuestra primera cita no paramos de reír. La conversación fluyó con total naturalidad, la química fue inmediata y, desde ese momento, supimos que había algo muy especial entre nosotros. Con el paso del tiempo descubrimos que el amor no solo se trata de compartir los momentos felices, sino también de inspirarnos mutuamente a ser mejores personas, perseguir nuestros sueños y crecer de la mano. Aprendimos a entendernos con una sola mirada y encontramos, el uno en el otro, un lugar al que siempre queremos volver. Cuando llegó el momento de la propuesta, David quiso sorprenderme de la forma más especial: me pidió matrimonio en español. Le tomó varios días aprender la frase perfecta, pero cada minuto de práctica valió la pena. Ese "¿Quieres casarte conmigo?" hizo que uno de los momentos más importantes de nuestras vidas fuera aún más inolvidable. Y ahora, rodeados de las personas que más queremos, estamos felices de celebrar el comienzo de nuestro para siempre.
