Cabalgata

2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

We ask that those guest joining us for this wear a light colored shirt or top (white, tan, etc) and Jeans. Cowboy boots & hats and sunscreen are suggested!

For those guest who wish to join us on a traditional Colombian Cabalgata we will be meeting at the Criadero El Encanto at around 2:30 PM (40 minutes from the city and about 15 from the airport). The horses will be leaving at around 3:30 PM from the finca and will last around 2:30 to 3 hrs. Our guides will be helping with the horses as well as providing us with refreshments (tequila, aguardiente) along with way. A fee of $50 per person will be collected to help pay for the guides & additional workers needed to help assist us! Uber is widely available in Medellin but transportation information will be coming soon.

Welcome Party

5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Comfortable clothing, suggested to wear closed toe shoes/boots! As well as long sleeves & pants as the weather can get chilly once the sun goes down. It’s a horse ranch! Cowboy hats and boots are encouraged!

For those guests who wont be joining us for the Cabalgata we ask that they come and enjoy a traditional “lechona” & welcome drinks to help get the celebration started! This will be at the same location as the wedding, located in El Tablazo Rionegro. Uber is available in Medellin to and from the finca. However transportation to and from the city will be provided at a designated location and time.

Wedding

Black tie/ Formal: suites and gowns. We invite you to join in the wedding's color palette by wearing neutral/earthy tones with gold and silver. Men are encouraged to wear black and bolos!

The Ceremony and reception will be located at the Criadero El Encanto which is located 40 minutes from El Poblado and about 15 minutes from the Airport. The Ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM promptly, followed by the cocktail hour, Dinner, and then fiesta!  We do strongly encourage to the ladies to wear thick heels as there will be grass for portions of the wedding ceremony/cocktail hour and something to cover up in as the weather can get chilly once the sun sets. Transportation information will be provided soon!
