Hello all
In July 2026, we’ll be gathering in the countryside of southern France to celebrate our wedding and Justin’s 50th birthday. This will be an outdoor, relaxed week at a rural domaine in the Languedoc region. Think long tables, food trucks, wine, swimming, wandering, and dancing as the sun sets. We'll have a wedding ceremony on Wednesday and the birthday party on Friday. You are welcome to stay the week or come to one or both events. Because this is a destination wedding in a rural area, travel takes a little planning. We’ve organized this website to make everything simple and clear (we hope!). We will also update these pages to reflect changes or additional information as it emerges. If you can make it, we will be delighted to have you! If not, we totally understand, we'll have a state-side wedding in August as well. This is a VERY casual event. Please come in what makes you comfortable.
Join us Friday afternoon and evening at the domaine for a casual birthday gathering. Expect simple food, wine, stories, and whatever unfolds naturally. 12:00 come whenever you want! 6:00-9:00 dinner, snacks, and cake We will have games, swimming, hiking, and general hanging out. Come as you are. Stay as long as you like.

What to Pack?
Answer
It'll be hot and we will be outside as much as we can be! Activities will include standing, sitting on the ground, hiking, swimming, game playing, touring around. Please come prepared with comfortable shoes and clothing for heat and adventuring. All events are casual. We might dress up a little, but no pressure to follow!

How long should we stay?
Answer
Some guests are coming just for Wednesday night. Others are making a week of it. There is no expectation, stay as long as feels good for you.

Do I need to rent a car?

Yes, we strongly recommend renting a car. The estate is rural and rideshares are unreliable.

Is this kid-friendly?

Yes! We will have our 7 month old with us and plan to hire babysitters to support the wedding and birthday evenings. Please indicate in your RSVP if you are interested in babysitting and we'll coordinate with you separately.

What if I can't come?

Don't worry! We'll still love you AND we plan to hold a block-party-style wedding state-side in August. Maybe you could join us there instead :) Details coming soon.

It'll be ok. It's not guaranteed that French folks in this region speak English but we believe in your ingenuity. The events at the domaine will primarily be in English. If you have concerns or need language support, just let us know.

Yes, probably, we'll try to be outside as much as is comfortable. But rest assured, there's a huge domaine with many sitting areas if you ever need a break from the heat or bugs.
