We first met in middle school in 2007. We were both on our school's co-ed soccer team. We were nothing more than friendly teammates throughout this period. One of us was a better soccer player than the other (we won't reveal who). However, over the years, we both went our separate ways and attended different high schools, but we remained acquaintances. In 2014, after graduating from high school, one of our middle school soccer teammates decided to hold a reunion and tried to reunite friends for one last scrimmage game. The scrimmage never happened, but we were the only teammates who reunited. On July 25, 2014, our beautiful adventure began. Our paths have been wonderfully blessed by God. It has been the most fantastic years so far. And, on March 9, 2022, in the lovely country of Costa Rica, with a full day of sightseeing and near a stunning waterfall, the most anticipated question was asked, to which she replied, YES! It's been an incredible engagement, and we can't wait to finally celebrate our love in union with our families and friends. We sincerely hope you have as much fun on our big day as we plan to do!
