Our story starts like many modern fairy tales: Girl awkwardly messages guy on a dating app, guy nervously responds. After a few stumbles and second guesses, they agree to meet up — fully expecting it to be a disaster. Shockingly, it wasn’t! It was fabulous! We laughed, we connected, we didn’t immediately run for the exits — a win by any dating standards. Then things got interesting. Jenny jetted off to New Orleans, and Pete, clearly smitten, made her a playlist (because nothing says “I’m catching feelings” like a carefully curated iTunes mix). We were gearing up for date number two when COVID decided to crash the party and take Jenny out of commission. Thankfully, she recovered, and before we knew it, we were seeing each other exclusively, spending more and more time together...and realizing this was turning into something way bigger than just "someone to split nachos with." Fast-forward a few months: Pete, ever the overachiever, decided to make things really dramatic by ending up in the ICU with a nasty virus. But even hospital gowns and bad cafeteria food couldn’t scare us off — in fact, it made our bond even stronger. By the time Jenny’s birthday rolled around, Pete had decided he wasn’t taking any more chances — and he popped the question! Now, here we are, beyond excited to celebrate this wild, beautiful ride with all of you — our friends, our family, and everyone who's been part of our story so far. Who knows what adventures are waiting for us next? (Hopefully with fewer hospital visits.)
