What time should we arrive?

We'd love for you to join us from 1:00 PM onwards. Early birds can enjoy pre-ceremony drinks from 1:30 PM, and we'll begin our ceremony at 2:00 PM sharp. Trust us - you won't want to miss a moment!

How do we get there?

Answer

Don't trust Google Maps on this. Google Maps might tell you to take Richmond Road or R56. There is no access to the venue from there. Please ensure you take the Market Rd offramp when exiting the highway. More detailed directions below from the venue and wedding coordinator: Coming from Durban/Johannesburg, you will travel along the N3 and take the Market Road offramp. You will then pass Bluff Meats on your left and take a slight left onto Washington Road. From here, you take a right turn at the robots on Gladys Manzi Road and proceed about 4km. Turn left into the Bisley Nature Reserve on Bisley Road (you will see the Wingrove Valley sign at the entrance of the Nature Reserve). Travel along the road for about 5.2km, then turn right into the driveway (there is a sign up there). Please keep left at the split and follow the sign that reads: Wingrove Valley, to the Reception venue. The Bisley Road is a dirt road from about 2km into the nature reserve.

What's the timeline for the celebration?

Our special day will begin at 1:00 PM, with the ceremony starting at 2:00 PM and the reception ending at 9:00 PM. Please see the "Program" tab for the full schedule.

What's this "unplugged ceremony" we've heard about?

We'd love for you to be present in the moment with us for our ceremony! Our photographer needs space to capture every moment and get the best shots. Feel free to snap away during the reception. We will share all the professional photos after the wedding - promise you won't miss a thing.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses...The colours are up to you! While we want you to feel fabulous, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing white - that's the bride's special color for the day!

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place in a covered outdoor chapel, and the reception is fully indoors. While we're crossing fingers for sunshine, we'll be celebrating rain or shine.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is greatest gift of all! However, if you'd like to contribute, we kindly ask for a cash gift instead of the traditional wedding registry. Your generosity would mean the world to us ❤ Please see more information under the Furniture and Honeymoon tab

Can I bring someone with me?

While we wish we could host everyone, we're planning an intimate celebration with our nearest and dearest. To keep things cozy, we're limiting our guest list to those specifically named on the invitations. We appreciate your understanding.

Your first two drinks are on us. After that, there will be a cash bar available throughout the evening. Get ready to raise your glasses and celebrate! 🥂

When does the party wrap up?

The celebration will continue until 9:00 PM - plenty of time for dancing, catching up, making memories, and joining everyone for our final sendoff into married life.
