For our fifth date, we took a day trip from D.C. to Loudoun County and enjoyed some sketching and brews at Dirt Farm Brewery!
Our First "I Love You"

We took a trip to Blackwater Falls State Park in Davis, West Virginia and fell in love with the park, the town, and each other.
Our First Roadtrip
May 2023
We bring out the adventure in each other! Our path took us from D.C. to Pennsylvania to the Hudson Valley to Vermont and New Hampshire to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and back.
Our First Apartment

We signed the lease on a great loft space in Charlottesville, and it's been our home base throughout Ethan's graduate school journey at the University of Virginia.
Our First Pets
July 2024-Present
Bonbon and Creamsicle (better known as Burt and Cream) joined our little family. We watched Bonbon grow from a goofy little kitten to a playful cat, and Cream grow from a distrusting stray to a cuddly lap cat!
Our First European Adventure
November 2024
Ethan studied abroad in Italy, enriching his love of landscapes by spending time among the Venetian canals. I came to visit for two weeks, and we enjoyed the best cuisine Italy had to offer. Ask Ethan about the wild boar pasta!
The Proposal - Part One
August 2025
Ethan popped the question at Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater! It was a full circle moment: His selfie in the same place was the picture I screenshot off his Hinge profile and shared with friends when we first started dating. The "yes" was immediate and loud!
The Proposal - Part Two

I proposed back! Even though I literally can't keep a secret from Ethan and he knew exactly what I was doing when I was doing it, it was still a beautiful and emotional moment. We're so excited to spend our lives together!
