Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
Please respect this is an 18+ event. We kindly ask that you are on time, unfortunately, if you arrive after the ceremony has started you will need to wait until the reception to join us to avoid a disruption in this very special moment.

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
There will be signature cocktails as well as a premium open bar and appetizers available during the cocktail hour.
Reception
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Dinner will be included as part the reception.

Best Western Plus Laurel
This hotel has rooms reserved as part of a hotel block. There are several rooms available to check in the 19th (the day before the wedding) with the majority available the night after. The reserved rate will expire on 8/12. Please book your room by then. There will be a premium open bar, so we highly recommend booking a room for your safety. There is no discount code needed, by using this link you will automatically receive our rate. The hotel has been completely renovated within the past 2 years and is only about 6 miles from the venue. If rooms become unavailable, please reach out to me directly and I will add some!

Dulles is approximately 35 minutes from the venue, BWI is about 25 minutes, but you might have a preference!

Question
What should I wear?
Answer
We are requesting formal attire for our wedding, please no jeans, sneakers, flip flops etc. Think elevated cocktail and formal, but not black tie. Please no white or blush pink for the ladies. We are happy to answer any questions!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Our guest list has been carefully curated, and will indicate those invited in your household as well as if you have been designated a plus one.

Can I bring my child/children?

Please respect this is an 18+ event, we love your little ones, but let's party as grown ups :) We know reliable childcare is not always an option, and understand if this prevents you from attending our wedding. We know you still love us, and won't take it personally.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
Additionally, we will not be permitting cellphone use during our ceremony, INCLUDING TAKING PHOTOS. We have hired a wonderful photographer, and don't want our ceremony photos full of pictures of cellphones. It is also a moment we hope you can sit back and enjoy, and be truly present for. We hope you understand, and we promise we will leave a time for you to take photos during a designated time in the ceremony but ask that phones be put away until such time. We also promise to share the professional photos when they are ready. Once the ceremony is over, you are welcome to take as many photos as you like!
