Northport is a small village on the tip of the Leelanau Peninsula which is a hot spot for Michiganders during the few months of summer where there is perfect weather and fun on the lake to be had. Due to this area being such a beautiful slice of heaven in August, and few large hotels, lodging books up very early during this time. Please consider booking your hotels, airbnbs, etc. in advance. Below are a handful of hotels and lodges within 25 minutes of the wedding venue. AirBnbs and VRBOs are a great option as well. Answer

To us formal garden party attire means slacks, suit jackets, and ties optional. Cocktail dresses, nice sundresses, or fancy separates. Floral prints and bright summer colors are encouraged. We also suggest a shoe that won’t sink in the grass.
