Question

When should I RSVP and how do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later then May 30th so proper accommodation can be made. A QR code is on the invitation or there is a page labeled RSVP on this website.

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

We ask that only guests that receive an invitation or plus one RSVP to attend. Please text the bride before RSVPs are due to ask for any clarifications if you feel an RSVP or a plus one was missed. We are calculating food and seating off the RSVP list so if we don’t receive a RSVP yes we will assume you are unable to make it.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For our wedding we are asking guests to wear semi dressy attire. For the men clean jeans and a nice shirt is appropriate and for the lady’s a simple dress or something equivalent will be perfect. The ceremony is outside but as late in the evening as possible to avoid heat and the reception will be inside.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to start at 6:00 so please arrive about 10-20 minutes early.

What to expect at the reception?

Answer

After the ceremony we will have a reception with dinner and dancing to follow. We are not doing an open bar and will be doing a BYOB style. Tea and water will be available. We ask for the coolers to be left in the cars until after the ceremony and after the bride and groom have entered.

Hotels questions

Answer

Gatesville is a small town so the three hotels are all within a couple miles of the venue. The Holiday Inn is less than a mile and a half while the other two are about 2 1/2 miles away.
