8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
There will be a few light bites in addition to cocktails in the barrel room of the winery. There will be shuttles leaving from the hotel block at 7:30 and will return guests back at the hotel at 10:30.
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Our ceremony is optional, but we hope everyone can make it for the reception!
6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Flight
Washington DC has three major airports, but Dulles is the most convenient and closest to the hotel. If you plan on flying into Reagan, plan on a more expensive Uber or taking the metro from Reagan to Dulles. Do not fly into BWI unless you plan on getting a rental car, it is very far away.
Flight
Reagan is a less convenient option to fly into, but it is a good excuse to check out downtown Washington, D.C. Head to the "things to do" tab for some recommendations.
Hotel
This is where the shuttle will be leaving from for the welcome party and ceremony/reception. This option will have a shuttle going back here in between the ceremony and reception. This link should include the discount code in the room block, but if not, use our discount code here when booking. You can still book rooms here if the block runs out, but it will be at an increased price. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Hotel
This hotel block option has a shuttle service to the ceremony, but the shuttle will not go back here in between the ceremony and reception. There will only be a drop off back here after the reception.
Hotel
This is another hotel block option we have for overflow, but the shuttle will NOT be picking up from this site. The shuttle will be picking up at a hotel .7 miles away from this location at the SpringHill suites Marriott listed above.
Hotel
This is a more luxurious option. It is a beautiful property with lots of different activities included. Very close to the ceremony site.

Evan came here the first time he went to VA to visit Kaitlin's hometown, Great Falls, VA. Kaitlin's dad's friend owns the beautiful winery.
Beautiful view atop a mountain, has great beer, and is close to the Appalachian trail. If you stop here, check out Dirt Farm Brewing as well.
A very cool Smithsonian that features historical planes and spacecraft. It is located close to Dulles Airport and the Hilton Garden Inn Haymarket.
Great winery with great views.
In Kaitlin's home town, a great hiking trail if you have easy access to a car and want some exercise. Pro tip- if you want to save money by not paying park fees start at Riverbend Park and walk two miles to Great Falls Park.
One of Kaitlin's favorite places and has one of the top shopping areas in the country. Girls, trust me this is a must-do.
Go into downtown DC to see all the monuments and go into all the Smithsonian museums (they are free!) Check out the Old Ebbit Grill while you are exploring this area of D.C.
The wharf is a beautiful waterfront spot in downtown DC that has several restaurants, shops, and bars to explore. One of Evans' favorite spots. Check out Hanks Oyster Bar for some good food.
Georgetown is one of the best waterfront spots in DC. There is great shopping, several historic buildings, and lots of restaurants.
A small city center with restaurants and shops close to Haymarket, where the hotel block for the Hilton Garden Inn is.
A brewery/winery located next to Blue Valley Winery featuring pizza & great views.
Old Town Alexandria is a quaint town with great restaurants and shops. Check out the waterfront for great views.
The National Habor has great restaurants, bars, and shops. Check out MGM and the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.
On the Appalachian trail, this 1.6-mile out-and-back trail is considered easy on AllTrails. Pair this with visiting Bear Chase and enjoy a well-deserved beer when finished.
30 minutes away from Delaplane, discover the beautiful Shenandoah National Park by hiking it or just drive through the beautiful scenery.
Restaurant in between Blue Valley and Haymarket.
Where the ceremony will take place. One shuttle will stay in this downtown area for our guests to shop around or check out some of the restaurants/bars in the area. The shuttle will then take people to reception. A few recommendations here would be walking around the salamander, eating at king street oyster bar, or grabbing a glass of wine at one of the many wineries in the area (Greenhill Vineyards, Cana Winery, Boxwood Estate Winery).
We ask that you RSVP no later than September 7th. Thanks!
We are registered at Crate & Barrel, Anthropologie, Amazon, and Zola (this website).
Yes! We have provided transportation to and from the ceremony, reception, and welcome party. Shuttles will leave for the ceremony at 1:15pm from hotel blocks. After the ceremony, one shuttle will take guests into downtown Middleburg, VA and one shuttle will take guests back to the hotel. Both shuttles will reload and take guests to the reception at 5:15. After the reception, guests will then be transferred back to the hotel. We are also providing transportation to and from the welcome party. The shuttles will arrive at the hotels on Friday, October 4th at 7:15 and will leave promptly at 7:30. The shuttle will then take guests back to the hotels after the welcome party.
We ask that you arrive no later than 1:45pm.
There is a large parking lot at both the ceremony and reception sites.
We have listed a few recommendations, including hotel blocks, in the travel tab of the website.
Dulles (IAD) and Reagan (DCA) are the best options. Dulles is the closest option to the hotels, although Reagan gives you an excuse to go into downtown Washington, D.C. BWI is very far away and I would try to avoid flying into this airport if possible.
