Our Wedding

Ceremony
3:00 pm - 3:30 pm
The ceremony will begin at 3:00pm so please make sure to arrive BEFORE this time so you can comfortably be seated appropriately. Try not to arrive any earlier than 2:30 though :)
Cocktail Hour and Photos
3:30 pm - 4:15 pm
We will have a couple mini cocktail foods around while you wait for dinner! This will include Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta on Parmesan Toast, Braised Short Rib Bites, Bacon Wrapped Scallops, etc.
Reception
4:15 pm - 6:00 pm
The reception will be taking place at the same venue as the ceremony so no extra travel required! We will be having a plated dinner inside their Lodge along with dessert, dancing, and games! :)
After Dinner
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Once food is done with we'll have a couple hours left for partying! It is a weekday so the party won't last too long into the night, and will be ending by 9pm. We look forward to dancing and hanging out with everyone!!

Super 8 by Wyndham Thurmont
The venue is rather secluded so most hotels, restaurants, etc. are at least 20 minutes away. Super 8 by Wyndham is the closest one only being about 15 minutes from the site.

What is the venue address?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will take place at Mountain Memories at Thorpewood, on 12805A Mink Farm Rd, Thurmont, MD 21788

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
Answer
We will have the option for either or! Physical RSVP cards will be included in your formal invitation, or you can choose to RSVP through our website right here! Whichever is more convenient :)

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please kindly RSVP no later than December 6th, 2025! As soon as possible is appreciated.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Since we've gone a little crazy and decided on a winter wedding in January, the weather will be very cold. Please dress warmly as there is a chance of snow being present. We will be making sure the venue is as toasty as it can be for the day, though!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
We will be having the ceremony done outdoors, possibly in the snow, so be sure to dress as warm as possible within dress code! Shortly after the ceremony takes place we will be moving indoors for the reception/dinner.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
While we appreciate the thought of inviting more guests, it will be directly stated on your invitation whether you are allowed a plus one or not. We are keeping our guest list as light as possible. All invited guests will be personally named in each invitation, thank you!

Are children allowed?
Answer
Any children allowed will already be stated on the invitation! Otherwise, plus ones including children are not allowed.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
While we are not too strict with attire, we do ask that guests dress formal, highlighting themes of vampiric gothic styles without being too costume-like. As for colors, white, black, dark red, and dark greens are requested! If you're hesitant on your outfit, please reach out to us :)

What about a wedding registry?
Answer
While it's obviously not required, any gifts you'd love to get us would defintely be appreciated! We will have a wedding registry available right here on our website that you can look at and/or purchase directly from. We also request that any gifts sent are delivered directly to us at 9111 Gardenia Rd, Nottingham, MD instead of at the wedding.
